Natural Climate Solutions (NCS) are efforts to protect, better manage, and restore nature. They play a crucial role in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and storing carbon. When combined with reducing fossil fuel use and accelerating renewable energy adoption, these solutions provide immediate and cost-effective ways to combat the climate crisis. They also address biodiversity loss and support human health and livelihoods.
