This course is designed to provide coral reef managers and practitioners with best practice guidance for common coral reef restoration techniques. Course topics include strategic planning for coral reef restoration, propagating corals for restoration through field-based, land-based, and larval-based approaches, enhancing and stabilizing physical reef structure, rapid restoration response after acute disturbances, and monitoring for restoration success.
This mentored course features seven self-paced lessons, three webinars, online discussions, and direct access to leading coral reef restoration experts from around the world. The webinars will be offered in English, and the online lessons can be taken in Arabic, English, French, and Spanish.
