This course is aimed at zoological animal care staff, and aims to provide the skills to enter daily aquarist and keeper information into ZIMS, specifically for the Enclosure Module.


The enrollment key for the course is available to users who have completed the ZIMS for Aquarists and Keepers course version 1.

If you have completed the ZIMS for Aquarists and Keepers course V2, then you do not need to complete this course as the content is already incorporated into version 2.

This course is designed for first-time ZIMS users responsible for setting up and managing their institution. It provides a clear introduction to key administrative tasks required for a successful start.

Participants will learn how to manage staff accounts and roles, maintain institution information, manage the enclosure tree, and add their animal collection into ZIMS. By the end of the course, users will have the essential knowledge and confidence to set up their institution accurately and efficiently.
