This course is designed to provide coral reef managers and practitioners with best practice guidance for common coral reef restoration techniques. This course includes seven lessons that discuss strategic planning for coral reef restoration, propagating corals for restoration through field-based, land-based, and larval-based approaches, enhancing and stabilizing physical reef structure, rapid restoration response after acute disturbances, and monitoring for restoration success. Lessons incorporate new science, case studies, and management practices and is periodically updated as the field progresses.
